1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using RecipeCost (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. The App is operated by The Sky Bringup, LLC ("we", "our", or "us").
2. Description of Service
RecipeCost is an AI-assisted recipe-costing application. You may paste a written recipe, enter ingredients manually, or submit a selected photo to request estimates of ingredients, food cost, cost per serving, waste, pricing, margin, and related business inputs. The App does not provide live supplier, market, wholesale, tax, labour, packaging, overhead, or waste data. Results are estimates that you must review before using them for a real menu or business decision.
3. Premium Plans and Billing
The App is free to download. Optional in-app purchases are offered through the Apple App Store, including an auto-renewing Weekly Premium subscription and a separate Lifetime Premium one-time purchase. The App Store purchase sheet shows the price and applicable terms for your storefront before you confirm payment.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Weekly Premium renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase and does not renew. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings and use Restore Purchases in the App for eligible transactions. Refund requests and billing questions must be directed to Apple. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where required: Apple Standard EULA.
4. Usage Limits
RecipeCost does not promise a fixed daily allowance. Short-window technical limits and abuse-prevention controls may temporarily delay or reject requests that arrive too quickly. Feature availability can also depend on a verified purchase, network access, and third-party service availability. Attempting to circumvent service protections may result in temporary suspension.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate estimates. AI output can omit ingredients, misread quantities, choose unsuitable units or currencies, or produce inaccurate costs, margins, and recommendations. Verify your own supplier prices, yields, taxes, labour, packaging, overhead, waste, and legal obligations before acting on a result. You remain responsible for menu prices and business decisions made using the App.
6. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by The Sky Bringup, LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any recipes, ingredient details, photos, or other content you submit through the App.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the App to process content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Resell access to the App, misuse the service, or present an AI estimate as a verified supplier quote or professional valuation
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Sky Bringup, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App and related in-app purchases.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features require an internet connection and depend on third-party AI services that may experience downtime. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App's AI features for any user who violates these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App's AI features will immediately cease.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
